Warm clothing worn


  1. Long underwear or other warm layers covering the entire body

  2. Sweater or fleece

  3. Winter jacket

  4. Snow pants

  5. Winter hat

  6. Balaclava or scarf

  7. Mitts

  8. Gloves in pocket for knot tying/eating

  9. Insulated winter boots.  Boots must keep the snow out by having tight tops, by wearing gaiters or sealing with duct tape.  Duct tape needs to be applied at room temperature. (No rubber boots or shoes.)

  10. GROUP NECKER!!!!!!

  11. BACKPACK CONTAINING: Mug (a big handle helps when drinking with mitts on - no metal please!);    Lunch and snacks on the trail;   Eating utensils;    Personal Survival Kit;    Extra socks (wool), mitts/gloves, toque/hat and balaclava;    Filled water bottle;    Plastic bread bags to put inside boots if they leak.


 
Packed separately and kept in a car until the banquet:

  1. Scout Dress Uniform or Scouts Activity Wear

  2. Indoor shoes or slippers


Note:  

 

Dinner will be served with all plates, cups and cutlery supplied by event committee.
